Scr*w them non-believers!

I’ve learned that starting anything new is always tough. Not just because it’s risky, or because the fear of the unknown creeps in, or even because failure is lurking around every corner like a nosy neighbour. Nope—it’s also tough because of the potential losses: time, money, credibility... and sometimes your sanity.
But perhaps the hardest part? The judgement. The eye rolls, the sarcastic comments, the subtle (or not-so-subtle) digs from people who can't see the vision. The non-believers, the dream-squashers, the “well-meaning” pessimists who offer advice no one asked for.
Here’s what I’ve realised, though: I should welcome all of it. Every last doubtful eyebrow raise. Because truly self-made, successful people? They don’t mock someone who's trying to build something—they cheer them on (or they’re too busy building to even notice).
Right now, I’m working on business set-up number six—and that’s not even counting the random projects and start-ups I’ve dabbled in along the way. Did you know around 90% of start-ups fail in the first year? Yeah… I’ve helped boost that statistic. Proud contributor here! 😅
But I’m not stopping until I’m firmly planted in that top 10%. Not because I want to flash the title of "boss" or humblebrag on LinkedIn—but because I genuinely want a life that’s healthy, happy, and free.
And let’s be real… have you seen the price of grass-fed steak lately? Free-range eggs? Raw, local honey? These used to be everyday basics—now they’re practically luxury items.
Unfortunately, none of the jobs I’m “qualified for on paper” are going to cover that grocery bill long term.
So yeah… I’ll keep swinging until I win.
