The pastry dough is created with a carefully balanced blend of two pure Italian flours, free from unnecessary additives or improvers often found in UK flours. This results in a pastry that is lighter, more natural, and easier to digest.
We use handmade butter, produced from fresh cream supplied by a trusted local dairy farm, giving the Treccia its rich flavour, delicate layers, and exceptional texture. Every braid is shaped by hand, respecting traditional Italian methods that prioritise quality over speed.
The Treccia is generously filled with luxurious pistachio cream and finished with selected nuts, delivering a perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and crunch.
